Every Smoking Bills piece is built using cold-smoked black walnut, wood that has been exposed to controlled smoke chambers for 72 hours before a single cut is made. The process was originally used to preserve timber in North African workshops. It darkens the grain from the inside out, hardens the surface without chemicals, and leaves behind a smell that doesn't disappear. Faint. Permanent. Like a room where serious decisions were made.

The Marlboro pack inside isn't decoration. It's a statement.

Cigarettes are the original luxury tax, something people buy knowing exactly what it costs them, and light up anyway. The bills replace the cigarettes. Same logic. Different vice. The kind of wealth that doesn't ask permission and doesn't explain itself.
